Vodafone Italy increased its residential broadband tariffs and put cap on its wireless broadband data allowance

Vodafone Italy, the alternative operator, with over 1,736,000 broadband subscribers and 13% market share, has slightly increased the price of its xDSL residential packages and put cap on its business wireless broadband packages.

Vodafone Italy, the alternative operator, with over 1,736,000 broadband subscribers and 13% market share, has slightly increased the price of its xDSL residential packages and put cap on its business wireless broadband packages. Now the monthly allowance of  "Top" package, a business wireless broadband package, is 10GB. The first 5GB is on 21.6Mbps speed and the last 5GB on 64Kbps whereas the "Total" package first 10GB is on 42Mbps and the speed drops to 64Kbps for the second half of monthly allowance. Some examples of the broadband tariffs are given in the table below:
