Belgacom increased its broadband tariffs in the first quarter of 2012. 

Belgacom the Belgian incumbent with over 1.57 million broadband subscribers and 45% market share increased its broadband tariffs in the first quarter of 2012. The increase  due to an increase of VAT from 6% to 21% and to indexation. The new pricing policy introduced by the incumbent will pave the road for the alternative operators to review their broadband tariffs.
